Barbara Good, daughter of Christian Good, married Samuel Huber. [1] [2]

1769 Barbara Good was named as a deceased daughter of Christian Good and as the deceased wife of Samuel Huber, in a deed between her mother, Magdalena, and her oldest brother, John. Barbara (Good) Huber died at the birth of daughter Magdalena. [3]

1788 The will of Samuel Huber of Warwick Twp, Lancaster County, was dated on January 14. The will named wife Barbara and several children, some of them under age. Item seven of the will, which is transcribed below, mentions daughter Magdalena, suggesting that Magdalena might be Samuel's only child with second wife Barbara (Good) who was age 21 or older. The will named children "Barbara Mary Elizabeth Christian Abraham Samuel Magdalena Suzanna John Ester Gertraut ann David Rebecca". [4]

Sevently it is my that what my eldest son Christian has recev'd in money and goods that he shall have but if it is more that one childs shire so he shall havit or keep it without intrist till my son John shall come to his lawful age and what my three eldest toughters have received allready from me in mony and goods shall be adet to my estate and be deduktet from there shire and my toughter Magdalena borne from my second wife Barbara borne a Gutin hath a demand against my estate or me for mony which I recv'd from her Mother a sum that the settlement will show so shall that mony when she comes to the age of twenty one years be paid to her if she discharges her Mother Brothers if demanded and shall be adet to her shire and shall and hove so mutch from my estate that she gits so mutch as one of my children and my sister sone Christian Mayer I impower to bring that acound to an end for my taughter Magdalena further …

1789 Barbara, the deceased wife of Samuel Huber, was listed as an heir of Christian Good, deceased, in Lancaster County Orphans Court records dated August 5. She was the third daughter listed, suggesting that she may have been the third eldest daughter. [5]

We seek further information about the mothers of the children of Samuel Huber.

Barbara was the third daughter of Christian Good named in orphans court records and Samuel Hoober was listed in the third position among the daughters of Christian Good in the 1769 deed, suggesting that Barbara was the third eldest daughter.

Mennonite Records report Barbara as child 9 of Christian Good and wife 2 of Samuel Huber (1725-1788). Handwritten notes report "left dau Magdalena" and d by May 27, 1769. [6]

Mennonite Records report that Samuel Huber was child 1 of Hans Ulrich Huber (1785 Will E1-282) and Barbara. [7]
