Notes for Leonard Klopper and Anna Good

1769 Anna Good was named as a daughter of Christian Good and wife of Leonard Klopfer in a deed between her mother, Magdalena, and her oldest brother, John. [1] [2] [3]

1789 Ann, the wife of Leonard Klopfer, was listed as an heir of Christian Good, deceased, in Lancaster County Orphans Court records dated August 5. [4]

1795 George Clopper and wife Elizabeth sold land to George Brenton. Leonard Cloooper and wife Ahh had conveyed the land to George Clopper, their son, in 1777. [5]

1803 Leonard Klopper dated his will on October 4. The will was proved on March 15, 1806. The will mentioned a wife, son George, daughter Elizabeth wife of John Bowman, daughters Susanna, Magdalen and Eva, and brother-in-law Peter Good (executor). [6]

1809 Daughters Magdalen and Eva were named as step-sisters in the will of daughter Susanna. [7]

Research Notes:

Ann, spouse of Leonard Klopfer, was the first daughter listed in both the deed and the orphans court record, suggesting that she may have been the eldest daughter.
