They had been married for 6 years. Julia had had no children. Julia was born in Missouri in March 1863. John J Vaughan's parents were both born in England. 1911 Susanna Lillian Vaughn, age 22, and Ernest Earl Jones were married on May 18 in Warren County, Illinois. Susanna Lillian Vaughn was a daughter of John J Vaughn and Mary L Fleming. [7]

1920 Julia Vaughn (age 55, born in Missouri, widowed), daughter, lived in Keithsburg, Mercer County, Illinois, in a household with Elizebeth Clark (age 76). Julia Vaughn's father was born in Pennsylvania and her mother was born in Indiana. Julia Vaughn could read and write. Julia Vaughn was a servant. [8]

1963 Daughter Lillian Jones, spouse of Ernest, died on January 25, at age 73, in Portland, Washington County, Oregon. She was born in 1889 in Illinois, daughter of John Vaughan and Susan Fleming. [9]

1970 Son Charles B. Vaughn died on February 4 in Rock Island, Illinois. He had married Julia Lehan on April 18, 1911. He was survived by his sister Bess Hutchinson of Lombard, Illinois. [10]

1910 John B Hutchison (age 30, born in Iowa, widowed), brother-in-law, lived in Galesburg Ward 5, Knox County, Illinois, in a household with John C Hast (age 45), Sarah Hast (age 39), John E Hast (age 14), and Gertrude M Hast (age 8). John B Hutchison's parents were both born in England. John B Hutchison could read and write. John B Hutchison was a switchman. [12] Perhaps John J Vaughan knew John B Hutchinson through railroad work.

1910 Mary E Vaughn, age 23, and John B Hutchinson were married on June 18 in Warren County, Illinois. Mary E Vaughn, daughter of John Vaughn and Molly Fleming, was born about 1887. [13] Perhaps Mary E Vaughn was a daughter of Mary Fleming and John Vaughan. The 1910 census naming Bessie Vaughan was dated April 28, consistent with her marriage to Hutchinson on June 18.

1917-18 John Bernard Hutchinson registered for the draft in Jackson County, Missouri. He was born on May 12, 1879. He had characteristics: Light Brown hair, Blue eyes, Medium build, and Medium height. His nearest relative was Mary Elizabeth Hutchinson. John was a switch foreman. [14]

1922 Hutchinson [unnamed male] died on March 27, at age Stillborn, in Weber County, Utah. He was born in Ogden, Weber, Utah, son of John B Hutchinson and Mary Elizabeth Hutchinson. [15]

1930 Mary Hutchinson (age 42, born in Illinois, married, first married at age 22), wife, lived in Steger, Cook County, Illinois, in a household with John B Hutchinson (age 49), and Ruth Hutchinson (age 9). Mary Hutchinson's parents were both born in England. [16] Both of John's parents and Mary's father were previously reported born in England. Perhaps there was a reporting error concerning the birthplace of her mother in this census record.

1932 John Bernard Hutchinson, married to Mary, died on February 13 in Chicago Heights City, Cook County, Illinois. John Bernard Hutchinson was buried on February 15, 1932, in Galesburg, Illinois. He was born on May 12, 1879, in Burlington, Iowa. He was a Switchman Railroad. [17]

1940 Mary Hutchinson (age 52, born in Illinois, widowed) lived in Bloom, Cook County, Illinois. Mary Hutchinson was a matron at a high school. The highest grade of school she had completed was High School, 4th year. [18]

1970 Bess Hutchinson lived in Lombard, Illinois, according to an obituary for her brother Charles.

1997 Ruth Lillian Hutchinson died on March 22. She was born on June 4, 1920, in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of John B Hutchinson and Mary E Vaughan. [19]
