1589 Hans Huber, son of Jacob Huber, was baptized on July 12 at the Reformed church in Hausen, Zürich, Switzerland with sponsors Hanß Ruster and Anna Bunder. Marriage records of Hans and his brother Osli suggest that they lived at Schweikhof, about 4 kilometers south-east of Hausen. [2] [3]

1625 Hans Huber (of Schweikhof, 4 km south-east of Hausen) and Barbel Vollenwieder (of Stallikon, 11 kilometers north of Hausen) were married on March 9 at the Reformed church in Hausen, Zürich, Switzerland. [4] [5] [6]

Title

A Romanesque chapel existed in Hausen as early as the early 13th century.
During archaeological investigations, both the foundations of the Romanesque church
and a new Gothic building from 1494 were secured.
The stump of the tower of this new building has survived to this day. [7]

1634 Hans Huber (age 47) and Barbel (age 28) and children Jacob, Anna (age 7), and Barbeli (age 3) were listed in the Mennonite census at Wesenmatt, Hausen am Albis, Zürich, Switzerland. [8]

1637 Hans Huber (age 48) and Barbel Vollenweider and children Elsbeth (age 11), Anna (age 9), Barbeli (age 7), Jacob (age 4), and Oswald (infant) were listed in the census at Wesenmatt. The previous listing was for a household with Hans' mother Barbara Ringger at Schweikhoff. [9] [10]

1644 Hans Huber and Barbel Wollenwieder were listed in the Mennonite census at Wesenmatt with children Annli, Barbli, Hans Jagli, Osa, Hanß Peter, and Verenli. [11] [12]

1649 Hanß Huber (age 57), Barbel Wollanwieder (age 38), Annali (age 21), Hanß Jageli (age 16), Osli (age 13), Hans Peter (age 11), and Verenli (age 8) were listed in the Mennonite census at Wesenmatt. [13] [14]

1651 Hans Huber of Wesenmatt was buried at Hausen on December 21. [15]

1649-70 Barbel Wollenwieder died. [16]

1670 Households of Jans Jagli Huber+Anna Saltzmann and Osli Huber+Barbara Zetter(?) were listed in the Mennonite census at Wesenmatt. [17]
