1844 Jacob Edward Wise, son of Jacob Wise and Sophia Zeigler, was born on February 11, in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Jacob Edward was baptized on August 6, at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [1] [2]

1861 Edward J. Wise was a private in Company H, 87th Regiment, Pennsylvania Infantry; mustered Sept 16, 1861, as a volunteer; discharged Oct 13, 1864; born Feb 11, 1844; died Feb 11, 1921; a farmer from Boiling Springs, Cumberland County; married Martha Jane Meyers (born 10/18/48) December 24, 1867; children: Albert M. (born 09/24/70). [3]

1867 Jacob E Wise and Martha J Myers were married on December 24, at the United Brethren in Christ Church in Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [4] [5] [6]

1867 "On the 24th ult, by the Rev A Tripner, at the bride's parents, Jacob E Wise to Miss Martha J Myers, both of this county." [7]

1880 Edward J. Wise (age 36, born in Pennsylvania, married) lived in South Middleton Twp, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Martha J. Wise (age 31), and Albert M. Wise (age 9). Edward J. Wise's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. Edward J. Wise's occupation was works in furnace. [8]

1900 Jacob E Wise (born in Pennsylvania in Feb 1844, married for 33 years) lived in South Middleton Twp, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Martha J Wise (age 31), Albert M Wise (age 29), Minnie E Wise (age 29), and Earl E Diller (age 17). 1921 Jacob Edward Wise, son of Jacob Wise and Sophia Zeiglar, died, at age 78 on February 11, 1921, in South Middleton Twp, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Jacob Edward Wise was born on February 11, 1843, in Pennsylvania. (Death certificate: 16172). [12]

1921 Jacob Edward Wise died on February 11, at age 77, and was buried in Springville Cemetery, Boiling Springs, Cumberland County, as recorded at the Otterbein United Methodist Church. [13]

1935 Martha J Wise, daughter of Nicholas Myers and Elizabeth Spangler, spouse of Jacob E Wise, died, at age 87 on December 2, 1935, in Boiling Springs Twp, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Martha J Wise was born on October 15, 1848, in Pennsylvania. (Death certificate: 107593). [14]

1936 Albert M Wise, son of Jacob E Wise and Martha J Myers, spouse of Minnie Dutrey, died, at age 65 on March 8, 1936, in Boiling Spring Twp, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Albert M Wise was born on September 24, 1870, in Pennsylvania. (Death certificate: 28801). [15]
