1622 On 27 January, Christine Mettler was baptized at Hirzel, Zürich, Switzerland. [1]

1623 On 23 November, Rudolph Landis was baptized at Hirzel, Zürich, Switzerland. [2] [3] [4]

1633 Rudolph Landis was aged 10. [5]

Rudolph Landis was a carpenter. [6]

1646 On 1 September, Rudolph Landis married Christine Mettler. [7] [8] [9]

1649 Rudolph Landis lived at Kellen (Chalen?), Hirzel. [10]

Rudolph Landis was an Anabaptist. [11]

1657 Rudolph Landis emigrated to "Durrenentzen 2 hours from Breisach" in France. [12]

1661 Rudolph Landis, perhaps this one, lived in Weiler when he attended the Steinsfurt meeting with his mother and sister [13]. It may have been a distant cousin who attended the Steinfurt meeting [14].

Research Notes:

We show Jacob Landis [15], who married Anna Witmer, as the son of Hans Heinrich Landis, who was born 1640.

Some researchers show this couple, Rudolph Landis and Christine Metzler, as the parents of Jacob Landis, who married Anna Witmer. [16]
