Notes for Jesse Weigle and Magdalina Meals

1834 Jesse Weigel, son of Christian Weigel and Elisabeth, was born on October 7. He was baptized on November 16 at the Upper Bermudian Church in Huntington Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania. [1]

1857 Jesse Weigle and Magdalina Meals, both of Adams County, were married on March 26, by Rev. J Martin at Holy Trinity Lutheran church in York Springs, Adams County, Pennsylvania. [2] [3]

1860 Jesse Wigel (age 25, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Tyrone Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Magdalain Wigel (age 21), William Wigel (age 2), Elizabeth Wigel (age 1), and William Wolf (age 9). [4]

1870 Jesse Weigel (age 35, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Tyrone Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Magdalena Weigel (age 31), William Weigel (age 12), Elisabeth Weigel (age 11), John Weigel (age 3), and Ellen Gardner (age 16). Jesse Weigel's occupation was farmer. [5]

1892 Land of Jesse Weigle in Butler Twp, Adams Coutny, at Biglerville Station, adjoined that of W H Bryson and the estate of Henry Koser. [6]

1892 Land of Jesse Weigle in Butler Twp, Adams County adjoined that of Jacob Mowry, Edward Brough, and the estate of William Bream. [7]

1896 Jesse Weigle (age 61, son of Elizabeth Weigle, father dead) and Tillie Guise (age 37, daughter of Eliza Guise, father dead), cousins, were married on May 9, 1896. Jesse's former wife had died on May 9, 1886. [8]

1900 Jesse Weigle (born in Pennsylvania in Oct 1834, married for 3 years) lived in Butler Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania, in a household with wife Tillie S Weigle (age 46), and nephew Elias Slaybaugh (age 12). Jesse Weigle's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. Jesse Weigle's occupation was farmer. [9]

1925 Mr Jesse Weigle, son of Christopher Weigle and Elizabeth Guise, died, at age 90, on July 21, 1925, in Biglerville, Adams County, Pennsylvania. Mr Jesse Weigle was born, on October 7, 1834, in Butler Township Adam County. (Death certificate: 68842). [10]
