1747 Heinrich Weigel, son of Martin and Anna Dorothy Weigel, was born on October 18. He was baptized on May 22, 1748 at the Christ Evangelical Lutheran church in York, York County. [1] [2] [3]

1764 "Came into court Baltzer Spangler Senr, guardian of Henry Wigle, a minor orphan son of Martin Wigle, late of Manchester Township, yoman, deceased, aged sixteen years the eighteenth day of October last, and prayed that the said Henry Wigle may be bound an apprentice for his brother Leonard Wigle of Manchester Township joiner. It is considered by the court and the said Henry Wigle is hereby bound an apprentice ..." Dated August 31. [4]

1800 Henry Wigle lived in Manchester, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with Males: 3 (age Under 10), and 1 (age 26 thru 44); Females: 1 (age 26 thru 44). [5]

1804 Henry and Peter Weigle were deeded land in York County on March 6. [6]

1810 Henry Weikle lived in West Manchester, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with Males: 1 (age 26 thru 44); Females: 1 (age 26 thru 44). Martin Weigle was listed on the same census page. [7]

1810 Henry Wykle lived in German, Fayette County, Pennsylvania in a household with Males: 1 (age Under 10), 1 (age 10 thru 15), 1 (age 16 thru 25), and 1 (age 45 and over); Females: 1 (age 26 thru 44). [8]

1820 Henry Weigle lived in German, Fayette County, Pennsylvania in a household with Males: 1 (age Under 10), and 1 (age 26 thru 44); Females: 1 (age 45 and over). [9] John Coover, Ephraim Watters, and Francis Fast, listed nearby, were listed near Samuel Wigle in the 1830 census, suggesting that son Samuel inherited his father's farm.

1829 Henry Weigel died on October 18 at age 82 and was buried at Jacob's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, McClellandtown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. [10] [11]

A descendant has reported the following descent lineage: Henry (1747) and Susanna (?) (1756), who migrated to Somerset County, Pennsylvania, to John Weigle (1776) and Anna Maria Brubaker (1775), to Jacob J. Weigle (1802) and Sarah Reiman (1805), to Josiah J. Weigle (1837) and Lavina Will (1842), to Phillip M. Weigle (1877) and Mary J. Sechler (1882), to John D. Weigle (1912) and Dorothy L. Bailey (1916).
