1715 John Schooley, son of John and Frances Scholey, was born on 22 of month 11, 1714/15. [1]

1730 Susannah Schooley, daughter of John Scholy of Burlington, and Michael Newbold, were married on 2 month, 15 day, at Upper Springfield meeting house, Burlington County. Witnessed by John Scholy Jr and others. [2].

1731 John Schooley was named in his father's will. [3]

1741 John Scholey of New Hanover, Burlington County, West New Jersey advertised a reward for recovery of a stolen gelding. Dated November 5. [4] [5]

1743 On 4 of month 6, John Schooley and Rachel Wright declared their intent to marry at the Chesterfield meeting. [6]

1743 John Schooley married Rachel Wright, daughter of Samuel, the son of Joshua Wright. John Schooley inherited from his father the farm near Plattsburg, late the property of John Pancoast, deceased. His daughter Fanny Schooley, married John Leonard, who joining the Royalists during the Revolutionary War, the farm was confiscated. [9]

1744 John Scholey of New Hanover, Burlington County, West New Jersey advertised that an Irish servant named Michael Dowdle, age 20, had run away, previously belonging to William Cook. Dated May 31. [10]

1753 Rachel Scholey was appointed to attend the quarterly meeting. Dated 1 of month 11, at the Chesterfield meeting. [11]

1756 John and Rachel Schooley [Scholey] witnessed the will of John Warren of Hanover Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey on 27 Feb. John Scholey and Anthony Sykes made the inventory of April 14. [12]

1756 The will of yeoman John Scholey of Hanover Twp, Burlington County was dated 15 Dec1756 and proved 7 Feb 1757. Wife Rachel was named sole executrix. The will named daughter Frances, under age, and brother Jonathan Scholey and sisters Mary Black, Isabel Ridgway, Rebecka Wright and Sarah Horner. (Susanna Newbold, perhaps the wife of Jonathan Scholey). Witnessed by Daniel Doughty, Anthony Sykes, and Rebeckah Wright. The inventory, made on 4 February, 1757 by Michael Newbold and Anthony Sykes. had value £525.4.4. [13]

1762 Widow Rachel Schooly and daughter Francis were named in the will of Rachel's father Samuel Wright. [14]
