1677 On 14 March, Jonathan Dennis and Rachel Moore were married in East Jersey. [1]

1683-4 Jan. 21. Deed. William Bingley to John Codington, both of Woodbridge, for three score (60) acres at the N. end of Raway Neck, adjoining Thomas Thorp and Jonathan Dennes. [2]

1683-4 February 25. Deed. Jonathan Dennes to John Codington, weaver, both of Woodbridge, for 30 acres, adjoining grantor's farm on the N. W. and 4 acres of meadow adjoining on the N. side of grantor. [3]

1694 Jonathan Dennis and his brother Joseph moved from Woodbridge to Cohansey, Salem County, New Jersey. [4]

1696 Land purchased from Abraham Adams of Newberry Mass by Charles Sallyer of Woodbridge was adjacent to land of John Dennis, perhaps this Jonathan, and Obadiah Aires and Daniel Greassie. [5]

1702-3 On Jan. 3, John Dennes, of Woodbridge, carpenter (perhaps this Jonathan Dennis, but more likely the son of brother John, according to the 1719 citation below), dated his will. Wife Rachell, sole heiress and executrix of goods and chattels. Children spoken of. Uncle Samuel Dennes and brother Nathaniel Fitz Randolph overseers. Witnesses: Edward Slater, Philipp Cox and Nicolas Munday junior. Proved March 27, 1703. [6]

1702-3 Jan. 28. Inventory of the personal estate of (£29.11.0); made by John Langstaff and Benjamin Martin. [7]

1719-20 Jonathan Dennis died in Cohansey, Salem County, New Jersey. Rachel Moore survived him. [8]
