1767 Barzillia Ivins (his mark), perhaps this Barzillia, and Alexander (Allexander) Kimmings, both of the Township of New Hanover, County of Burlington... [bound to]... William Franklin, Governor... 500 pounds...8 Oct 1767. ... Barzillia Ivins and Alex'r Kimmings obtained license of marriage for the said Barzillia Ivins... and for Margaret Treadwell of the place aforesaid... [w] Jos Borden, Joseph Potts. [1] [2]

1776 Barzillai Ivins witnessed the will of Jonathan Cheshire of Chesterfield Twp, Burtlington County, New Jersey. [3]

1777 Margaret, the wife of Barzillai Ivins inherited a bed from the estate of John Wardell of New Hanover Twp, Burlington County. [4]

1782 Isaac Ivins Sr was named as executor for the estate of William Davis of Hanover Twp, Burington County, if dead within 12 years, then Isaac Ivins Jr and if both of them are dead, then Barzillai Ivins. [5]

1783 Barzilla and wife Margaret Ivins and child Hannah Ivins were on a list of members of the Upper Freehold particular meeting, Burlington County, New Jersey. Dated 7 of month 5. [6] [7] [8]

1784 The inventory of the estate of Barzillai Ivins was valued as £546.12.7 by Isaac Bullock and Joseph Wildes. Dated November 25. [9]

1785 The estate of Barzillai Ivins of Hanover Twp, Burlington County, was administered by Isaac Ivins, of Chesterfield Twp, with fellowbondsman Daniel Ellis of Burlington, Burlington County. Dated December 6. [10]

1786 Margaret Ivins was named as widow of Barzillai in Isaac Ivins' will. [11]

1787 Aaron Ivins of Monmouth County and fellowbondsman Joshua Bunting of Burlington County administered the goods left unadministered by Isaac Ivins. Dated February 27. This suggests that the original administrator, Isaac Ivins, was Isaac Ivins Sr, who died in 1786. [12]

1791 Aaron Ivins completed the administration of the estate of Barzillai Ivins. Dated August 11. The administration had been initiated by Isaac Ivins, but was not completed when Isaac died. [13]

1799 James Brown, son of Samuel and Rebeckah Brown, married Hannah Ivins, daughter of Barzillai Ivins, deceased, and Margaret, his wife, both of Hanover Twp, Burlington County. They were married on February 14, at Upper Springfield, Monmouth County. Witnessed by Margaret Ivins, and many others. [14] [15]

1805 The account of the estate of Isaac Ivins named son Barzillai (deceased) and his widow Margaret and grand-daughter Hannah, wife of James Brown. [16]

1831 Margaret Ivins died on 26 of month 12, at age 87. [17]
