1764 Elisabeth Hoffman was born on December 2, 1764. [1]

1776 John Rudisell was in Captain John Myer's Company, York County Militia. [2]

John Rudisill married Maria Elizabeth Hoffman, daughter of Adam Hoffman, based on the 1819 will of Adam Hoffman.

1787 Daughter Elisabetha was born January 5, 1787 and was baptized on January 21, 1787 to parents Johannes Rudisill and wife Elisabetha. Witness: Juliani Stannin. [3]

1798 John Rudisill was listed on the U.S. direct Pennsylvania tax rolls for Codorus Twp, York County, with a wood springhouse [4]. John Rudesill had a log house and barn and still house adjacent to John Reber [5]. [6] [7]

1800 John Rudisell lived in Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 3 (under 10) (Henry, David, John), 2 (10 thru 15) (Adam, Jacob), and 2 (45 and over) (John and ?); and females: 1 (under 10), 1 (16 thru 25) (Christine), and 1 (45 and over) (Elisabeth). [8]

1806 Lydia Rudesil, child of Johannes Rudesil and Elisabeth Rudesil, was baptized on July 20, 1806, in St Matthew Evangelical Lutheran, Hanover Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. Lydia Rudesil was born on June 5, 1806, in Pennsylvania. [9] [10] [11]

1808 Elisabeth Rudisell died on August 13, at age 43y 8m 11d, and was buried in St Peters Church Cemetery, Spring Grove, York County, Pennsylvania. [12] [13]

1810 John Rudisel lived in Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 2 (10 thru 15), 1 (16 thru 25), and 1 (45 and over); and females: 1 (26 thru 44). [14] Jonas River, another younger John Rudisel, Michael Miller Sr, Michael Miller Jr, and John Hoffman were listed on the same page, among others (see 1824 estate settlement).

1819 The will of Elizabeth Hoffman's father, Adam Hoffman in Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania named deceased daughter Elisabeth, wife of John Rudisell.

1821 John Rudisill and John Rudisill Jr were taxed in Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [15] Henry and Jacob Rudisill were also taxed. [16] David Rudisill was taxed as a single man. [17]

1822 John, John Jr, and Jacob Rudisill were taxed in Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [18] Michael, Lewis, and the heirs of Adam Rudisill were taxed in the town of Jefferson. [19] David Rudisill was taxed as a single man. [20]

1823 John Sr (180 acres), John Jr (150 acres), and Jacob (100 acres, next page) Rudisill were taxed in Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [21]

1823 Letters of administration were issued, on March 6, to Jacob & John Rudisell for the estate of John Rudisill the elder, late of Codorus Twp. [22]

1824 John Sr (180 acres, abbreviated listing), John Jr (150 acres), Jacob (100 acres, next page), and Samuel (no land, next page) Rudisill were taxed in Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [23]

1824 On January 30, John Neff and wife Christiana, daughter of John Rudisill, deceased, sold their share of the estate to Jacob Rudisill. [24]

1825 Henry (180 acres), John Jr (150 acres), Jacob (100 acres, next page), and David (no land, next page) Rudisill were taxed in Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [25] Perhaps Samuel had moved (to Ohio?)

Perhaps John Rudisill had married again before his death.

1824 The estate of John Rudisill the elder, of Codorus Twp was administered in the York County Orphans' Court on May 11. John's widow was named Mary Magdalena. His 8 children were Christena wife of John Neff, Jacob, Henry, Catherine wife of Peter Muller, David, Samuel, Eve, and Lenah. The 160 acres of the estate was bounded by lands of John Rudisill, John Hoffman, Jonas Rever, Michael Miller, and Michael Miller. [26] The land was reported sold at the Orphans Court on September 14. 1830 Magdalena Rudisill (age 50-60) lived in Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania with two females (age 10-20). Listed on the same page of the census were David Rudisill, Henry Rudisill, Michael Miller, John Nace, John Rudisill, Jacob Rudisill, Jonas Revert, and John Hoffman. [29]

1818 Adam Rudisill reportedly died in 1818. The account was recorded in 1823.

1823 The account for Adam Rudisill was presented to the Orphans Court by Jacob Rudisill. [30]

John Rudisill was not named among the heirs. Perhaps he was not a son of this couple.

1840 John Rudisill dated his will on May 20 in North Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. The will name wife Elizabeth and sons John, Jacob and Solomon and daughters Elizabeth wife of Isaac Gulden, Magdalena wife of Samuel Nass, and Lidia wife of Daniel Bear. [31]

1854 Henry Rudisill wrote his will but did not name his children. [32]

1850 Adam Rudesill (age 21, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Halifax, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Mary Sweigard (age 47), Joseph Sweigard (age 25), William Sweigard (age 21), Jane E Sweigard (age 19), Margaret Sweigard (age 16), Sarah Rudesill (age 18), and John Rudesill (age 12). Adam Rudesill was a miller. [33]

1860 Adam Rudisil (age 31) lived in Jackson, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Sarah J Rudisil (age 28), Jacob M Rudisil (age 7), Isaiah A Rudisil (age 6), Samuel B Rudisil (age 2), John W Rudisil (age 6/12), and Samuel Kelly (age 17). Adam Rudisil was a farmer. [34]

1868 Sarah Jane Rudisill of Dauphin County wrote her will naming husband Adam Rudisill. [35]

1869 Sarah Jane Rudisill, married, died on October 1, at age 37, in Lower Mahanoy, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. She died of Consumption. She was born in Pennsylvania. [36]

1914 Adam Rudisill died on September 9 and was buried at Wittenberg Cemetery, Hutchinson County, South Dakota. Adam Rudisill was born on February 16, 1829. [37] [38]
