1769 Johan Jacob Wolff, son of Frederick and Maria Elisabetha Wolff, was born on August 21. He was baptized on September 29 with sponsors George Hermann and wife Elisabetha at the Emanuel Reformed Church, Hanover, York County. [1]

1786 Jacob Wolf was listed on the septennial census for Berwick Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [2]

1793 Jacob Wolf was listed on the septennial census for Berwick Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [3]

1800 Jacob Wolf was listed on the septennial census for Berwick Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania. [4]

1815 Jacob Wolf, of Cumberland Twp, Adams County, signed a petition in support of the tavern kept by Frederick Herr. [5]

1833 The will of Jacob's sister Elizabeth Noll, of Berwick Twp, was recorded. The will named brother Jacob Wolf, brother John Wolf, brother Andrew Wolf, and Polly Winand (Jacob's daughter) as heirs. Brother Jacob Wolf was named executor. Witnessed by Joseph Carl and Frederick Wolf. The will was dated July 18, with a codicil dated July 23. The codicil added brother Frederick Wolf and sister Christian (Christina) Baltzly as heirs. The will was affirmed on August 7. [6]

1845-51 Elizabeth and Jacob Wolf were listed as communicants at Trinity United Church of Christ in York, Pennsylvania. [7]

1850 Jacob Wolf (age 75, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Hamilton Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Elizabeth Wolf (age 72), Frederick Wolf (age 42), Anna Wolf (age 36), John Wolf (age 17), Rebecca Wolf (age 12), Sarah Wolf (age 14), Anna Wolf (age 10), Leah Wolf (age 16), Susanah Wolf (age 6), and Catharine Wolf (age 2). Jacob Wolf was a farmer. [8]

1852 Elizabeth, wife of Jacob Wolf, died on December 28 and was buried at Mummerts Meetinghouse Cemetery, Abbottstown, Adams County, Pennsylvania. [9] [10]

1869 The will of Jacob Wolf was dated November 19, 1864 and was executed on March 26, 1869. Son Frederick and son-in-law Peter Hileman were named as executors. [11]

1869 Jacob Wolf died on March 18 and was buried at Mummerts Meetinghouse Cemetery, Abbottstown, Adams County, Pennsylvania. [12] "Jacob Wolf, a centenarian, died near Abbotstown in March, 1869". [13] [14]

1869 "The Hanover Spectator says: We learn that Mr. Jacob Wolf, residing in the vicinity of Abbottstown, Adams county, died on the 19th ult., at the extreme age of one hundred years. He had twelve children - seven living and five dead; grandchildren, sixty five living, fifteen dead, great grand children, two hundred and sixty five living, twenty six dead; great great grandchildren, three living - making two hundred and forty living and forty six dead, or a total of two hundred and eighty six."
