1783 Henry Schlebaugh (aged 18), Peter (age 16), and William (age 14), minor orphan children of Henry Schlebaugh late of Manallen Twp, deceased, chose William Meals of Tyrone Twp, as their guardian, on June 17, at the York County Orphans Court. George Meals and Catharina Schlebaugh, administrators of the estate of Henry Schlebaugh, requested that Jacob Grenmeyer of Manallen Twp be appointed guardian for minor orphans Mary (age 11), John (age 4), and Elizabeth (age 1).
