1805 John Meals was baptized on December 15 at Benders Church, Biglerville, Adams County, Pennsylvania.
1830 "Married: On Thursday the 25th ultimo, by the Rev. L. L. Hinsch, Mr. John Meals, to Miss Elizabeth Jones, both of Menallen township." 1838 John Meals, perhaps this one, owned land in Menallen Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania. The tract on the Big Conewago had been warranted to Robert McConaughy on October 23, 1753. Adjacent landowners were John Mann, Ephraim Johnson, Robert Moore, and Samuel McConaughy. [3]
