1896 William Huntsman, of Noble, Indiana, and Emmeretta Ott, of Noble, Indiana, were married on October 3 in Noble County, Indiana. Harrey J Haney was the officiator. William Huntsman was a child of Susana Hosletter. [1] Irvin Haney was the officiator. The license was issued on October 2, 1896. [2]

1900 William H Huntsman (born in Indiana, married), son, lived in Green Twp, Noble County, Indiana, in a household with George Huntsman (age 60), Susanah Huntsman (age 55), Emma Huntsman (age 20), Cleo M Huntsman (age 2), Blanche A Huntsman (age 1), Cora M Huntsman (age 17), and Anson D Huntsman (age 13). William H Huntsman's parents were both born in Ohio. [3]

1910 William Huntsman (age 33) and Emeretta Huntsman (age 29) lived in Green Twp, Noble county, Indiana with Cleo (age 12), Blanch (age 11), Fern (age 8), Wilda (age 7), Leon (age 5), Martha (age 3), and Hayse (age 9 months). [4]

1936 William H Huntsman (1875-1936) was buried in the Christian Chapel Cemetery in Noble County, Indiana. [5]

1936 An obituary for William Huntsman states [6]:

Huntsman William H was born to George and Susanah Huntsman on Nov. 25, 1875. There were nine children in the family, five of whom together with the parents have died. A brother, Anson; and two sisters, Mrs. Vern Strouse and Mrs. Dan Harlan survive him. He married Emmaretta Ott on Oct 3, 1896. One son, Ross, died as a baby, while 11 children survive. They are Hays, Raymond and Robert, Wilda, Donnabelle, Lydia, Martha, Fern, Mrs. Jim Winebrenner, Mrs. Warren Johnson and Mrs. Rollin Weber. Eleven grandchildren survive. He was a member of the Baptist Church at Burr Oak. His whole life was spent on the farm where he was born. Some time ago he suffered a heart attack, followed by pneumonia, from which he died Oct. 6, being 60 years, 10 months and 11 days of age. Funeral from Burr Oak Church Oct. 9. Burial, Christian Chapel Cemetery.

1946 Emmaretta Ott Huntsman (1880-1946) was buried in the Christian Chapel Cemetery in Noble County, Indiana. [7]

1946 An obituary for Emmaretta Ott Huntsman states [8]:

Huntsman Emmaretta (Ott), widow of William Huntsman, died at her home 4 miles south of Albion Jan. 14, 1946. She was born Sept. 16, 1880 and was past 65 years of age. Her husband died in Oct. 1936. Two children have died, Ross at age of 21 days, and Martha in 1939. She is survived by 10 children, Raymond, Fern, and Donnabelle at home, Hays, Robert, Mrs. Rolla Weber, Mrs. Beryl DeCamp, Mrs. James Winebrenner and Mrs. James Cole, all of Albion, and Mrs. Warren Johnson of Benton, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; three sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Archie Friskney of Albion, Mrs. Leo Gaff of Auburn, Mrs. George Edwards of Englewood, Calif., Jesse Ott of Albion, Clinton Ott of Fort Wayne, and Rev. William Ott of Plymouth. For many years she was a member of Burr Oak Baptist Church where funeral was held Jan. 17. Burial, Christian Chapel Cemetery. + 1-?-1946
