1909 Harvey E. Hosler and Abanna E. Hyler were married on March 31 at Huron, Ohio. Harvey, son of David Hosler and Florance Applegate, was born in 1884 at Albion, Indiana. Abanna, daughter of James L. Hyler and Paran Booth, was born in 1888 at Chicago Jct, Ohio. [1]

c 1917 WWI Draft Registration card lists Harvey Ellsworth Hosler of Huron County, Ohio. He was born on February 19, 1884. He was a Fireman and Engineer for the B&O RR Co. Abana Hosler (his wife) was listed as the contact person. He was of medium height and built, with brown eyes and hair. [2]

1930 Harvey E Hosler (age 46, born in Indiana, married, first married at age 25) lived in Willard Twp, Huron County, Ohio, in a household with Albana E Hosler (age 41), and Omer H Hosler (age 19). Harvey E Hosler's parents were both born in Ohio. Harvey E Hosler's occupation was locomotive engineer, Steam Railroad, wage or salary worker. Harvey E Hosler's residence was not a farm. The residence had a radio. [3]

1940 Harvey E Hosler died on August 30, 1940 in Huron County, Ohio. His death certificate named parents David Hosler, born Ohio, and Florence Applegate, born Indiana, and spouse Albana Hosler. He was born in Churubusco, Indiana and was a locomotive engineer. [4]

1940 Harvey's obituary in the Mansfield (Ohio) News Journal dated 30 Aug 1940 states:

Harvey Hosler Dies at Willard - Railroad Engineer Succumbs Soon After Admission To Hospital: Willard - Harvey Hosler, 66, a resident of Willard for the past 36 years, died at Municipal hospital early this morning where he was taken Thursday to be treated for a chronic heart ailment. Mr. Hosler is survived by his widow, Mrs. Abana Hosler; a son, Omar, of Willard; a grandson, Michael; and a brother and two sisters. The body was taken to the Fink Funeral home, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday and at the Presbyterian church at 2:30 p.m. Mr. Hosler was employed as an engineer for the B & O railroad.

1942 William Edison Hosler, married, spouse of Katurah Hosler, died on June 2, at age 77, in Rural, Noble County, Indiana. He was born on October 12, 1864, in Ohio, son of Levi Hosler and Abigail Hosler. [5] He was buried at Eel River Cemetery, Dunn Mill, Allen County, Indiana. William E. Hosler was born in 1864. [6]

1942 Keteurah Almeda Hosler, widow, spouse of William Hosler, died on December 29, at age 78, in Rural, Noble County, Indiana. She was born on September 7, 1864, in Noble County, Indiana, daughter of George Geiger and Rebecca Geiger. [7] She was buried at Eel River Cemetery, Dunn Mill, Allen County, Indiana. Keturah A. Hosler was born in 1864. [8]
