A quiet wedding was the celebration last eve. of the nuptials of Katie E. Smith and Fred E. Sayre at the residence of the bride's father, A. Chipman Smith, Wentworth St., St. John. The ceremony was performed at 6 o'clock by Rev. Dr. Macrae. The bridemaids were Miss Troop, Miss King, Miss Annie Smith and little Miss Gladys MacLauchlan. They will take up their residnce at Coburg St. in the mansion recently purchased by Mr. Sayre.
