1812 Andrew, son of Peter and Magdalena Weickel was born on September 28. He was baptized on November 17 at the Evangelical Lutheran Church on the Katores (Codorus), Christ Lutheran Church, York, York County, Pennsylvania. [3]

1814 Christine, daughter of Peter and Magdalena Weickel was born on November 30. She was baptized on January 1, 1815 at the Evangelical Lutheran Church on the Katores (Codorus), Christ Lutheran Church, York, York County, Pennsylvania. [4]

1820 Two Peter Weigle families lived in West Manchester, York County, Pennsylvania, both the correct age to be this Peter.

1820 Peter Weigle lived in West Manchester Twp, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (under 10) and 1 (26 thru 44); and females: 3 (under 10) and 1 (16 thru 25). [5]

1820 Peter Weigle lived in West Manchester Twp, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 2 (under 10), 1 (16 thru 18), 1 (16 thru 25), and 1 (26 thru 44); and females: 3 (under 10), 3 (10 thru 15), 2 (16 thru 25), and 1 (26 thru 44). [6] [7]

1828 Samuel Hamme, administrator of the estate of Balthasar Hamme, sold land to Thomas Oldham on March 24. The land was adjacent to land of Peter Weigel in Manchester and Dover townships. [8]

1828 A Peter Weigle was killed by Indians. On 4 Nov, a Peter Weigle intestate left issue Andrew, Christena, Sarah, Maria, Frederick, and William. He owned 177 acres in West Manchester Twp and lots in Bottstown 7. Peter's widow Magdalena petitioned for George Hileman and Martin Weigle to be guardians for these children, all under age 14 except Andrew was over age 14, at the time of Peter's death. [9]

1828 Peter Weigel died on August 10 and was buried at Neiman's Cemetery, Shiloh, York County, Pennsylvania. He was born on July 27, 1780. [10] [11] He was reported as son of Martin, died at age 48 years and 14 days [perhaps not this Peter, or perhaps an error in date or age]

1828 Letters of administration for the estate of Peter Weigel of West Manchester Twp were issued to Magdalena Weigel and Samuel Hamme on October 8. Tenet in $1000. Inventory filed October(?) 31, 1828. [12]

1828 On 4 November, Magdalena Weigle and Samuel Hamme, administrators of Peter Weigle deceased petitioned the York County Orphans' Court concerning minor children Andrew, Christina, Sarah Maria, Frederick, and William, and more debts than cash on hand, to sell a tract of 177 acres in West Manchester Twp and several tracts that were part of the estate of Daniel Rawhauser. Debts to the estates of Peter Lint and Margaret Weigle, and a note to Martin Weigle were listed. [13] George Hileman was appointed guardian for Andrew Weigle, minor above the age of fourteen. Gurdians were appointed for William, Sarah, Christina, Mariah and Frederick, all under the ages of fourteen. [14]

1828 The sale of the lots from the estate of Peter Weigel was summarized on December 9. Payments were to be made to the widow. George Hileman and Martin Weigle signed as guardians of the minor children. [15]

1830 Samuel Hamm and Magdalena Weigle, administrators of Peter Weigle produced an account with balance $101.49, dated August 3. [16]

1830 Magdelena Weigle age 40-50 lived with 1 female age 15-20, and 2 males age 5-10 in Manchester Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. On the same page was Henry Weigle age 30-40. On the next page was George Heilman (see guardian listed above) and several Witmeyer (Magdalena's maiden name) families lived nearby. [19]

1832 On 14 February, Martin Weigle produced the account of his guardianship of Mariah Weigle, minor child of Peter Weigle. [20]

1832 On 14 February, Martin Weigle produced the account of his guardianship of Frederick Weigle, minor child of Peter Weigle. [21]

1832 On 14 February, Martin Weigle produced the account of his guardianship of Christiana Weigle, minor child of Peter Weigle. [22]

1834 On 16 September, Martin Weigle, guardian over the estate of Julian Lind, daughter of Peter Lind, late of West Manchester Twp, York County, produced an account of the guardianship showing a balance of $862.18. [23]

1834 On 16 September, George Hileman, guardian over the estate of Andrew Weigle, now of lawful age, son of Peter Weigle, late of West Manchester Twp, York County, produced an account of the guardianship showing a balance of $184.53. [24]

1837 On June 2, the estate of a Magdalena Weigle of Manchester Twp was administered by Samuel Hamme, Tenet in $400. The estate of Peter Weigle of Manchester Twp showed a balance of $3093.29 and the estate of Magdalena Weigle of Manchester Twp showed a balance of $69.53. [25]

1837 On 8 August, Samuel Hamm, administrator for Peter Weigel, late of West Manchester, presented an entire account with balance $3493.29, most of which had already been paid to the heirs. [26]

1837 On 8 August, Samuel Hamm, administrator for Magdalena Weigle, widow, late of West Mnchester, presented an account with balance $49.53. [27]

1838 On May 8, William Weigle, now age 14 and son of Peter Weigle deceased, and guardian George Heilman, petitioned that Frederick Hamm be appointed guardian. [28]

1839 On 19 February, Martin Weigle presented accounts of the guardianships of Frederick and Christianna Weigle, children of Peter Weigle, deceased. [29]
