1880 Charles Pickett (age 39) and Elizabeth R Pickett (age 35) lived at Rail Road Street, Union City, Darke County, Ohio with children Charles E Pickett (age 11), Kate E (age 3), Arielle M (age 1), [Bertha] unnamed (age 1 month). [1]

1900 Edward Picket (born August 1868), cooper, was a boarder in the household of Elizabeth Rausch in Marysville, Paris Twp, Union County, Ohio. [2] [3]

1901 Ida I McKinley Fudge and John H Mulford were registered to marry on November 18 at Dunkirk, Jay County, Indiana. (FHL film 001750174). [4]

1905 Charles Edward Pickett (age 37) and Mrs Ida J. Mulford (age 28) were married on March 22, in Franklin County, Ohio. Charles Edward Pickett was the son of C. T. Pickett and Page. Charles was a cooper. Ida Mulford was divorced and her parents were named James McKinley and his wife, with name Robertson. They were married by pastor Patton of Fair Ave UB church. [5] [6]

1910 Ida Pickett (age 30, born in Ohio, married for 5 years), daughter, lived in Dunkirk Ward 2, Jay County, Indiana, in a household with James Mc Kinney (age 72), Sarah Mc Kinney (age 70), Robert Mc Kinney (age 34), and her son Charles R Pickett (age 4). Ida Pickett's father was born in West Virginia and her mother was born in Scotland. Ida Pickett could read and write. [7]

1920 Charles E Pickett (age 51), divorced cooper, was a lodger in Hillsboro, Montgomery County, Illinois. [8] [9]

1934 Edward Pickett was named in the will of Aunt Elizabeth Modlin Page, wife of John R Page and inherited $2,000.

1939 Charles Edward Pickett, divorced, son of Charles P. Pickett and Elizabeth Pickett, died on May 20, 1939, at age 71, in Union City, Randolph County, Indiana. Charles Edward Pickett was born on August 17, 1867, in Darke Co, Ohio. Mrs. Elmer Applegate was the informant for the death certificate. [10]

1939 Charles Edward Picket died on May 20, 1939 and was reported buried at Union City Cemetery, Union City, Randolph County, Indiana. [13] [14]

1939 An obituary for Charles Edward Pickett reported [15]:

C. E. Pickett dies following long illness. - Services Tuesday in Union City for retired cooper. Charles Edward Pickett, 70, retired cooper, died at the Union City hospital Saturday at 9 p. m. following several years of declining health and a month's serious illness from a heart condition. His home was on Central avenue, Union City. Mr. Pickett was born and reared in this community, but had worked most of his 40 years at the cooper trade in Dayton, O., retiring several years ago. He was a member of the Baptist church in Dunkirk. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. E. G. Applegate, of Union City, Mrs. Kate Drury, of Selma, Kans., and Mrs. Charles M. Wolfe, of Dayton. Other survivors include four nieces and three nephews. Funeral services will be conducted in the Union City United Brethren church Tuesday at 2 p. m., with Rev. L. G. Ludwick officiating. Burial will be made in the Union City cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Brooks funeral home in Union City.

The unknown heirs, devisees, legatees, administrators, executors and assigns of Charles E. Pickett, deceased wl11 take notice that on the 30th day of August. 1939, William D. I Brumbaugh, Jr., administrator of the estate of Charles E. Pickett filed a petition against them in the Probate Court of Darke County, Ohio, the same being cause No. 19254 for the purpose of selling certain real estate in the petition described, to-wit:
"Situate in the County of Darke, In the State of Ohio and in the Village of Union City, and bounded and described as follows; Being Lot No. 497 In Archers Addition to the Village of Union City, Darke County, Ohio."
The prayer of said petition is for the sale of said real estate to pay debts of the estate of Charles E. Pickett …

1939 Mary Ida McKinley Gilliland died on December 17, 1939 and was buried at Union Dale Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. [17] [18] [19]
