1900 Amos P Blosser (age 45, born in Jun 1854 in Indiana), married in 1882, lived in Union Twp, Elkhart County, Indiana, in a household with Alice Blosser (age 35), Sadie A Blosser (age 16), Dura Blosser (age 14), Asher Blosser (age 9), and Abraham Shelly (age 22). Amos P Blosser's parents were both born in Virginia. [1]

1930 Amos Peter Blosser died on 08 Mar 1930 in Goshen, Elkhart County, Indiana. Amos Blosser was New Mennonite and was buried at Violett Cemetery, Goshen, Indiana. [2] Obituary (source unknown):

Amos P. Blosser, Old County Resident, Dies. Passes Away At Home South Of Goshen Saturday Afternoon. Was owner of Amusement Park Built On Island in Elkhart River. Amos P. Blosser, 75 years old, and a native of Elkhart county, died at his home just south of Goshen, on State Road 15, Saturday afternoon at 2:15 o'clock, of uraemic poisoning and heart trouble. He had been seriously ill and had undergone an operation more than a year ago, but had apparently recovered to a great extent, but again became seriously ill only a short time ago. Mr. Blosser is survived by his wife, Alice, two sons, Dura Blosser, of Detroit, and Asher Blosser, of Goshen; a daughter, Mrs. Abe Shelly, of Foraker; and three grandchildren. Marion Shelly, a student at Indiana university; Dorothy Blosser, of Detroit; and Harold Blosser, of Goshen. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at Three o'clock at the home. The Rev. Paul Brosy will officiate, and burial will be made in Violett Cemetery. He was born 7 June 1854, son of Mr. And Mrs. Peter Blosser. His ancestors came from Virginia and settled near Youngstown, Ohio, and in 1850 three brothers, Peter, Joel, and Enos came to Elkhart county, and all took government land in the vicinity of Foraker, and it was on the Peter Blosser homestead near Foraker that A. P. Blosser was born and where he lived until 1903. All three of the brothers who came to this county together, and all of their children, with the exception of Elias Blosser, shoe merchant at Nappanee, and a son of Enos Blosser are now dead. Elias Blosser is the father of Merrill Blosser, whose cartoon strip appears daily in the News-Times. in 1903 Mr. Blosser moved to the home south of Goshen, where he had resided ever since. At that time he first established the amusement park on an island in the Elkhart river, which he developed during the past 25 years.

1943 On 17 February, Alice Blosser died and was buried at Violett Cemetery, Goshen, Indiana. [3]

A biosketch reports [4]: "Amos P. Blosser was b. June 7, 1854, in Elkhart Co., Ind. P. O. address, Goshen, Elkhart Co., Ind. Occupation, farmer. He was m. to Clara Alice Apple, Feb. 25, 1883, who was b. Dec. 5, 1864, in Elkhart Co., Ind. Both are members of the Evangelical church. To them were born two children, viz: Sadie A. Blosser, b: March 29, 1884; Dura A. Blosser, b. April 4, 1886."

1978 Sadie A Shelly died on August 25, 1978, and was buried at Violett Cemetery, Goshen, Elkhart County, Indiana, born on March 29, 1884. [5]
