1850 Theophilas Brenizer (age 24, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Green Twp, Wayne County, Ohio, in a household with David Brenizer (age 50), Anne Brenizer (age 46), Adeline Brenizer (age 18), Caroline Brenizer (age 15), Elizabeth Brenizer (age 11), Kasiah Brenizer (age 8), and David Brenizer (age 4). [1]

1850 Sarah Lybe (age 18, born Pennsylvania) lived in Wayne County, Ohio with her family. [2]

1850 Theophilus Brenizer and Sarah Ann Leib were married on September 12 in Wayne County, Ohio. [3]

1852 Theophilus Brenizer died on June 13 and was buried at Old Hill Cemetery, Smithville, Wayne County, Ohio. [4]

1854 Sarah Ann Leib Brenizer married Miles Wells on May 14, in Wayne County, Ohio. [5]

1860 Miles Wells (age 27), wife Sarah E. (age 26, born Pennsylvania), and children, William (age 4), Alonzo (age 5), George (age 3), and Nettie (age 1) lived in Wayne Twp, Wayne County, Ohio. Miles was a day laborer. [6]

1865 Miles Wells was killed in the Sultana ship disaster of April 27, 1865, after being a POW at Cahaba. Miles Wells was a twin and his brother Giles Wells survived the war. Miles Wells left a widow and three young children in Iowa.

1866 Sarah A Wells, widow of Miles Wells, had a pension record, on April 9, for his service in H 102 Ohio Infantry. [7]

Sarah Ann Leib Brenizer Wells married John F Strater (also a Civil War veteran).

1870 John Strater (age 54) and Sarah Strater (age 37, born Pennsylvania) lived in Fairview, Jasper County, Iowa with daughter Anna (age 2). [8]

1874 John F Strater died on November 5, 1874. [9]

1878 Sarah A Strater and Samuel Summerlot were married on February 5, in Jasper County, Iowa. [10]

1880 Sam Summerlot (age 50) and Sarah (age 48, born Ohio) lived in Red Rock Twp, Marion County, Iowa with children including Annie Strater (age 13, born Iowa), [11]

1881 Sarah Ann Leib died some time around August 21, 1881. Her bible is in the possession of descendants of Annie Strater (a daughter of Sarah Ann Leib). [possible source: Bible extract from "Report" By Ohio Genealogical Society, v.41-42 2000-2001][12]
