1976 Leroy Peyton died in September. His last residence was Rago, Kingman, Kansas. Leroy was born on December 3, 1902. [1]
2006 An obituary for D. Gertrude Anderson Peyton states, [2]:
Norwich - Peyton, D. Gertrude (Anderson), 95, homemaker and retired pharmacist, died Sunday, July 9, 2006. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 14, 2006 at the Norwich Christian Church. She married Leroy C. Peyton Aug. 19, 1936. He died Sept. 2, 1976. Also preceded by parents, William and Asenith (Sawyer) Anderson; four brothers: Robert, John, Joe and Estel Anderson; two sisters: Daisy Dale and Vera Morris. Survivors: sons: Bill Peyton of Spivey, Kansas; John (Peggy) Peyton of Mulvane, Kansas; Robert (Sally) Peyton of Elkhorn, Nebraska; two daughters: Carol (Bob) Elliott of Derby, Kansas; Janet (Robert) Schafer of New Brighton, Minnesota; 12 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Memorials have been established to Norwich Christian Church or the Norwich Care Center, Norwich, Kansas. Ebersole Mortuary, Conway Springs, Kansas.
