c 1820 Caleb Schooley, son of Joseph Schooley and Sarah Tilton, was born. [1]

1850 Joseph Schooley (age 60) and Sarah Schooley (age 50) lived in Chesterfield Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey with children Caleb (age 28), William (age 25), Elizabeth (age 22), Mary A (age 20), Charles (age 17), Sarah J (age 16), and Franklin (age 12). [2]

1854 Caleb Schooley and Alice H Warden were married on August 10 by Samuel Jaquett. Registered at Crosswicks, Chesterfield Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey. [3] [4] Caleb Schooley married Miss Alice Worden, daughter of Samuel and Mary Ann Warden in Ocean County, New Jersey. [5] [6]

1859 The residence of C. Schooley is shown on a map of Chesterfield Twp, Burlington County. Residences of H Middleton and G Satterthwaite were listed nearby (see 1860 census listing). [7]

1860 William Schooley (age 30), Charles N Schooley (age 27), Mary Ann Schooley (age 25) and Sarah Jan Schooley (age 23) lived with brother Caleb Schooley (age 34) and his wife Alice (age 25) and daughter Sarah (age 2) in Chesterfield Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey. Henry Middleton and George Satterthwaite were listed nearby. [8] [9]

1865 Caleb Schooley lived in Chesterfield Twp, Burlington County, with Alice, Mary H, Sarah T, and Henry D. [10]

1870 Caleb Schooley (age 45) and Alice Schooley (age 38) lived in Chesterfield Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey with children Sarah T Schooley (age 12) and Henry D Schooley (age 10), and brother Franklin Schooley (age 27). [11] [12]

1880 Caleb Schooly (age 50, born in New Jersey, married) lived in Bordentown Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey, in a household with Allice Schooly (age 40?), Sarah Schooly (age 32?), and Henry Schooly (age 19). Caleb Schooly's parents were both born in New Jersey. Caleb Schooly's occupation was farm hand. [13] [14]

1881 Sarah J Schooley and John Black, both of Bordentown and both age 23, were married on January 26 in Union Street Methodist Episcopal Church church, Burlington, Burlington County, New Jersey. [15]

1882 Sarah T Black, married, died on September 30 in Upper Freehold Twp, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Sarah T Black was born on about 1858 in United States. [16]

1885 Caleb Schooley (age over 60) perhaps this Caleb, lived in Upper Freehold, Monmouth, New Jersey with Alice Schooley, Henry Schooley, William Gravatt, and Julia B Lippencott. [17]

1895 Caleb Schooly and Ella Schooley lived in New Hanover, Burlington County, New Jerey. Henry D Schooley and Mary were listed nearby. [18]

1900 An obituary published in Freehold, New Jersey on February 23 reported the death of Caleb Schooley.

1900 Alice H Schooly (born in New Jersey in Jan 1829, widowed), mother, lived in Freehold Twp, Monmouth County, New Jersey, in a household with Henry Schooly (age 40), May W Schooly (age 27), Helen B Schooly (age 2), and George Beatty (age 18). Alice H Schooly's parents were both born in New Jersey. Alice H Schooly had had 3 children, 3 still living. [19]

1938 Henry D Schooley died on August 21 and was buried at Crosswicks Community Cemetery, North Crosswicks, Mercer County, New Jersey. Henry D Schooley was born in April, 1860. [20]
