1753 Christian Hassler, son of Michael Hassler, Reformed, and Margreta, Lutheran, was born on August 28, 1752. He was baptised on April 23, 1753 at St. Michael's and Zion Lutheran Church, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with sponsors Jacob and Maria Landgraf. [2]

1792 William Hassler, son of Christian and Magdalene Hassler, was born on October 3, in York County. He was baptized on October 28 with sponsors William Jung and wife. [24]

1793 Christian Hassler was listed in the septennial census for Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [25]

1794 Christian Hassler bought 125 acres from William Jung in Codorus Twp. [26]

1795 Andrew Hassler, son of Christian and Magdalene Hassler, was born on August 4, in York County. He was baptized on October 25 with sponsors Andrew and Magdalene Kleindinst. [27]

1797 George Hassler, son of Christian and Magdalena Hassler, was born on October 22. He was baptized on November 19 in York County. Eva and Nicolaus Benns were sponsors. [28] [29]

1800 Christian Hassler lived in Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [30]

1800 Christian Hassler was listed on the Pennsylvania septennial census for Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [31]

1805 On April 12, Christian Hassler and wife Magdalena sold 200 acres of land in Codorus Twp to Henry Senft (see 1783) [32]. Christian Hasler also sold land to Casper Glatfelter (see 1794)[33].

c 1805 Christian Hassler moved to Monaghan Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [34]

1813 Christian Hassler, son of Christian Hassler the elder late of Monaughan Twp, petitioned the Orphan's Court of York County in November to evaluate the estate for partition. Christian, deceased, had died intestate with two tracts of land of 105 acres and 50 acres. His heirs were widow Magdalena, and eight children named Peter, Christian, Michael, Joseph, George, John, Margaret, and Mary. The last three were minors. [35]

1813 George and John Hassler, sons above the age of 14 of Christian Hassler, petitioned the Orphan's Court of York County in December to Appoint a guardian. Magdalene, widow of Christian petitined the court to appoint a guardian for daughter Mary, under age 14. Peter lau was appointed guardian. [36]

1813 Joseph Hassler, fourth son, asked the court for possession of one of the tracts from the estate. [37] [38].

1814 The evaluation of the estate was returned to the Orphans Court in May. Son Christsian purchased the land and was to pay the other heirs: widow Magdalena, Peter, Michael, Joseph, George, John, Margaret, and Mary Hasler. [39] Several other proceedings were held. [40]

1820 On 12 September, "Magdalena Hassler and Christian Hassler administrators of all and singular the goods and chattels rights and credits which were of Christian Hassler, deceased, produced a further account of their administration as settled with the Register of this county, whereby there appears to be a balance in their hands of seven hundred and eighty nine dollars and fifty one cents, which account the court do hereby affirm." [41]
