Willis Baker, son of Zachariah Baker and Ellen Stoner, was born in Noble County, Indiana. Maggie Summerlot, daughter of Emanuel Summerlot and Barbary Oliver, was born in Waterloo, Indiana. Willis and Maggie separated after the birth of daughter Ethel.

1903 Maggie Summerland [Summerlott] and Benjamin Parks were married on October 8 in Waterloo County, Indiana. [6] Maggie Summerlott was named as a spouse in an obituary for Benjamin Parks dated 1957. Maggie Summerlott was named as the mother of Jack Parks, son of Benjamin Parks, in a 1931 marriage record for Jack Parks. Maggie and Ben Parks lived with Ben's parents in a 1910 census listing that included grand-daughter Ethel Parks (age 10).

Clifford Kimble Steele, son of William H Steele and Addie Tyler, was born on January 17, 1892, in Michigan. Ethel B Baker, daughter of Willis Baker and Maggie Summerlott, was born on March 14, 1899.
