1907 John Moyer lived in Emmet County, Michigan, according to an obituary for his half-brother, Jacob Moyer: "born in Ashland county, Ohio March 23, 1842 died in Harrison township, Elkhart county, Indiana with his parents. … He leaves no near relatives except for a brother, John Moyer in Emmet county, Michigan." Fannie Eyer, daughter of John Moyer and Hester Smeltzer, was born on April 29, 1855, in Elkhart County, Indiana. She was the widow of George Eyer. She was was buried at Bliss, Michigan.
