1846 Peter Brubaker and wife Catherine, Abraham Moyer and wife Susan, Henry Hartman and wife Barbara, Mary Burke, Jacob Bechtel and wife Anna, Wm Kirchner and wife Elizabeth, Michael Gongaway and wife Catherine, John Moyer Jr, Christian Moyer, Barbara Moyer, George Moyer, Harriet Moyer, Abraham Moyer minor heirs of Elizabeth Moyer by guardian John Moyer Jr, sold sold 13 acres to Nancy Newcomer in section 27 of Milton Twp, Ashland/Richland County, Ohio. Dated January 5. [1]

1849 John Myers and Esther Smeltzer were married on August 5, in Elkhart County, Indiana. [3] [4]

1860 John Moyer (age 36) and Esther Moyer (age 31) lived in Harrison Twp, Elkhart County, Indiana with children Elizabeth (age 10), Harriet (age 7), Fanny (age 5), and Catharine (age 2). [5]

1868 Esther Moyer, daughter of John and Esther Moyer (both born in Pennsylvania), was born on November 21, in Gaines, Kent, Michigan. [6]

1869 Esther Moyer, wife of John Moyer, died on January 19 and was buried at Holy Corners Cemetery, Caledonia, Kent County, Michigan. [7] [8]

1870 John Moyer (age 45) lived in Gaines Twp, Kent County, Michigan with children Harriet (age 18), Fanny (age 15), Catharine (age 12), and Aaron (age 4). [9]

1871 Esther Moyer, single, died on October 25, at age 3, in Gaines Twp, Kent County, Michigan. Esther Moyer, daughter of John Moyer and Esther Moyer, was born in Michigan. [10] Esther was buried at Holy Corners Cemetery, Caledonia, Kent County, Michigan. [11] [12] [13]

1880 John Moyer, widow, (age 56) lived in Gaines Twp, Kent County, Michigan with son-in-law John McDonald (age 27), daughter Hattie McDonald (age 27), and Aaron (age 13). [14]

1889 Aaron Moyer (born 1866 in Indiana, son of John Moyer and Esther Smeltzer) and Fanny Roth (born 1872 in New York, daughter of William Roth) were married on May 7 at Bliss Twp, Emmet County, Michigan. [15] [16] [17]

1900 John Moyer (age 75, born October 1824) was widowed and lived in Bliss Twp, Emmet County, Michigan with son-in-law Edward J McDonald (age 47, born December 1852), daughter Harriet McDonald (age 46, born September 1853), grand-son Charles O (age 17), grand-son Fred L (age 13), and grand daughter Addie (age 10, born June 1890). [18]

1907 John Moyer lived in Emmet County, Michigan, according to an obituary for his half-brother, Jacob Moyer: "born in Ashland county, Ohio March 23, 1842 died in Harrison township, Elkhart county, Indiana with his parents. … He leaves no near relatives except for a brother, John Moyer in Emmet county, Michigan." [19]

1907 John Moyer, farmer, died on August 6, at age 82 at Bliss, Emmet County, Michigan. [20]

1942 Elizabeth A Overholt, widow of Amos Overholt, died on July 19, in Bliss, Emmet, Michigan at age 91 and was buried at Bliss, Michigan. She was born on January 9, 1851, daughter of parents John Moyer and Hettie Smeltzer, both born in Pennsylvania. [21] [22] [23]

1944 Fannie Eyer, widowed, died on March 19, at age 88, in Levering, Mckinley Twp, Emmet County, Michigan. Fannie Eyer, daughter of John Moyer and Hester Smeltzer, was born on April 29, 1855, in Elkhart County, Indiana. She was the widow of George Eyer. She was was buried at Bliss, Michigan. Her parents were both born in Pennsylvania. [24] [25]
