1835 Miss Hannah Meals and Frederick Quickel, both of Adams County, were married on December 24. [1]
1839 Jacob Meals, minor son above the age of 14 of Jacob Meals, of Menallen Twp, deceased, petitioned for a guardian because John Quickel, his guardian had died. Frederick Quickel, perhaps his brother-in-law, was appointed guardian. Dated on November 27. [2]
