Research Notes:

We are researching Elizabeth Crosby, who married Sanders Reed. She was named as an heir in the estate of George Crosby [19], who died in Randolph or Shelby County, Indiana circa 1848. We would like to find more direct evidence of the family of Elizabeth Cosby, married to Sanders Reed. The relationship, if any, of John Uriel Crosby and Nancy Peters to the siblings named in the estate of George Crosby is unknown to us. We seek evidence to clarify any possible relationship.

There are several different reports naming different children of the family of John Crosby and Nancy. The 1853 Shelby County Kentucky will of John Crosby, married to Nancy, summarized above, names their children. The 1858 Shelby County Kentucky will of his son John Crosby, married to Susan E, names their children.
