1644 "William the sonne of Robert Taylor was baptized the xith day" at Dronfield Parish, Derbyshire, England. Dated February 11, 1643/44. [1] [2] [3]

1671 William Taylor was named in the will of his father, Robert Taylor, of Dronfield, Derbyshire, dated March 13, 1670/71. [4]

1676 William Taylor of Dore and Sarah Bradbury [Britobury] of Buxton Green were married on 10 of month 6 (August), at Ashford monthly meeting, Derbyshire, England. Witnessed by Anthony Bunting, John Sikes, Samuel Johnson Sr, Francis Fallows, Jonathan Fisher, Robert Haslam, Anthony Cutleve, Samuel Johnson Jr, William Wood, Edward Shakerley, John Gratton, Bridget Johnson, Mary Follows, Margaret Evans, Mary Taylor. 1677 Hannah, the first born child of William and Sarah Taylor, was born on 22 of month 4, as registered at Monyash meeting, Derbyshire. [7] [8] [9]

1678 Hester Taylor, child of William and Sarah Taylor, was born on 5 of month 4, as registered at Monyash meeting, Derbyshire. [10] [11] [12]

1681 Robert Taylor, son of William and Sarah Taylor, was born on 8 of month 4, as registered at Monyash meeting, Derbyshire. [13] [14] [15]

1680 William Taylor was overseer of the poor in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. [16]

1682 In August, "there was a great presentment of recusants by the grand jury, at the assizes held in August, 1682. The presentment, with convictions annexed, is on a long skin of parchment, closely written on both sides. ... The great majority of recusants of names on the list are undoubtedly Roman recusants, but there are some Quaker recusants" marked with [Q]. William Taylor, lab. of Dore. [17]

1685 William Taylor and his partners refused to pay their assessments for the tolls of the markets in Sheffield, England. [18]

1705 Samuel, son of William Taylor was buried on 17 of month 6 (June), at Sheffield, Yorkshire, England. [19]

1701 Native American owners sold to David Lyell, goldsmith, land at Milstone River, by the purchase of Thomas Budd, and Assanpink Creek. Dated October 11. Witnessed by Francis Parker, William Taylor, and Thomas Folkes. Acknowledged on January 23, 1703, Thomas Folkes appeared before And. Hamilton. [21]

1663 William Taylor and Jane Coates were married on December 13, at a Quaker meeting in Essex, England. [22]
