Research Notes:

One researcher reports that Henry Ruhl, son of Clement Ruhl and Anna Margaretha Rudolph, was married to Margaret Bailey [14]. We show Henry Ruhl [15], born 1763, son of Frederick, as the spouse of Margaret Bailey. Perhaps both Henry Ruhl, son of Clement Ruhl, and Henry Ruhl, son of Frederick Ruhl, had a wife named Margaret Bailey. However, Frederick was named as guardian of the children of Clement when Clement died. Perhaps Frederick's biological son Henry died and Frederick adopted Clement's son Henry. Perhaps the son Henry named in Frederick's will was the biological son of Clement.
