1658 Christian Musselman was fined for being a täufer. [3]
1659 Christian Musselman and Barbara Jau were married on October 24 in Lauperswil. [4] [5]
1660 Babi Mosiman was a sponsor at the baptism of Elsbeth Lichti at Lauperswil. [6]
1664 Anna, daughter of Christian Mosiman and Babi Ju, was baptized in Lauperswil on April 19 with sponsors Peter Utz, Anna Ram(?), and Anna Mosimann. [7]
1664 Hans, son of Christian Mosiman and Barbara Ju, was baptized in Lauperswil on March 27 with sponsors Hans Bieri, (?), and Catrina. [8]
1667-1671 Christian Musselman was called an Anabaptist at the baptism of his children in 1667 & 1671. [9]
1667 Ulrich, son of Christian Mosiman and Barbara Ju, Anabaptist, was baptized in Lauperswil on November 3 with sponsors Hans Lüthi, Uli Mosimann, and Madlena Schu(?). [10]
1671 Christian, son of Christian Mosiman and Barbara Jou (perhaps of Frittenbach), Anabaptist, was baptized with sponsors Hans Brechbühl, Hans Lichti, and Anna in Lauperswil on February 5. [11] [12]
1671 Christian Musselman was in prison at the Trachselwald castle, Canton Bern in 1670/71 with Benedict Baumgartner. [13]
1671 Christian Musselman was exiled with the large group of Bernese Anabaptists in late 1671. [14]
1672 Christian Musselman was listed as an Anabaptist refugee, age about 30, with his wife Babbe, the same age, with their three children living at Neidenstein, Baden, Germany, on April 6. Neidenstein is about 3 miles northeast of Zuzenhausen. The refugee list also stated that "her mother with them is an old woman who left her husband who goes to the church [Reformed] and is rich. The friends don't yet know what the husband will give her. She has another daughter in Switzerland who is a member of the congregation and who came [to the Pfalz], but was taken back by her husband, who goes to the church, in the hope that he can keep her quiet". Christian and Barbara had only three children in 1672 which would indicate that either their daughter Anna or their son Ulrich died by 1672." [15]
