Notes for Joseph Rickey and Mary Quigley

1750 On 28 March, Joseph Rickey was born. [1]

1755 On 8 October, Mary Quigley was born. [2]

1775 On 16 August, Joseph Rickey married Mary Quigley, both of Burlington. [3] [4] Mary Quigley was the daughter of Isaac and Mary Quigley. [5]

1780 Joseph Rickey was disowned from Chesterfield meeting for going out in marriage and neglecting meeting. [6]

1782 On 4 of month 9, Joseph Rickey, although not a member of the Falls meeting, apprentice with Nath. Walters in Philadelphia, received a certificate from Falls meeting, Bucks County, to the Philadelphia meeting. [7] [8] [9]

1788 Joseph Rickey was granted a certificate by the Philadelphia Meeting to the Duck Creek Monthly Meeting. [10]

1796 The will of Joseph Rickey of Nottingham Twp, Burlington County, was dated February 23. Wife Mary, all personal and rents and profits from real until son Lambert is 21. Son Lambert, home place bought of brother John Rickey, when 21. Daughter Anne, lot purchased of Noah Davis. Daughter Mary, land purchased of Edmond Beakes. Should said children die before of age, their respective share to be divided among the survivors. Executor: James Ewing of Trenton. Witnesses: James B Machett, Albert M Collins, and Achilles Wilson. Proved June 1, 1797. [11]

1797 On May 8, Joseph Rickey died. [12]

1797 On May 27, Inventory for £194.5.0 made by William Smith and James B Machett. [13]

1827 On 9 April, Mary Quigley Rickey died. [14]
