1764 Martin Ebersole was born about 1764, perhaps, based on being first taxed in 1785.

Martin Ebersole married Barbara Kissinger (see the deed dated 1785).

1785 Jacob Ebersole, of Donegal Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, made his will on April 12. The will was proved on May 16, 1785. Son Daniel (a minor) received money. Sons Jacob and Martin received the land they lived on and were to pay Daniel for his share. No wife was mentioned in the will. [1] [2] Other heirs were named in a deed dated 1787.

1785 Ann Kinsinger, widow of Daniel Kinsinger late of Donegal Twp, sold land to sons-in-law Martin and Christian Eversole on November 17, 1785. [3]

1785 Martin Ebersole was taxed in 1785 in Donegal Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania for 140 acres, 2 horses, and 2 cows. [4]

1786 John, Jacob Junr, Martin, Jacob, and Christly Ebersole were taxed in Donegal Twp. [5] [6] [7]

1786 John Ebersole, Jacob Ebersole Junior, Martin Ebersole, Jacob Ebersole (smith), John Ebersole, Jacob Ebersole, and Christian Ebersole were listed in the Pennsylvania Septennial census of Donegal Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [8]

1787 Jacob Ebersole's heirs made deeds to settle Jacob's estate in Donegal Twp, on March 9, according to intestate law. John Ebersole and Elizabeth his wife, Christian Ebersole and Magdalena his wife, Martin Ebersole and Barbara his wife, and Daniel Ebersole sold their shares of the estate to son Jacob Ebersole, all of Donegal Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The two tracts of land had been granted to Jacob, deceased, by the land patents of 1761 and 1770. At the time of his death, Jacob named 5 sons as heirs. [9]

1790 Martin Eversole lived in Donegal Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in a household with 1 males under age 16, 1 males age 16 and over, and 3 females. [10] Adjacent listings included brothers Jacob, John, and Christian Eversole and John Kauffman.

1793 Daniel Ebersole, John Ebersole, Jacob Ebersole Senior, Martin Ebersole, Jacob Ebersole (smith), Jacob Ebersole, and Christian Ebersole were listed in the Pennsylvania Septennial census of Donegal Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [11]

1800 Martin Ebersole lived in Donegal Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (under 10), 2 (10 thru 15), and 1 (26 thru 44); and females: 2 (under 10), 1 (10 thru 15), and 1 (26 thru 44). [12]

1800 Jacob Ebersole, John Ebersole, Martin Ebersole, Christian Ebersole, and Benjamin Ebersole were listed in the Pennsylvania Septennial census of Donegal Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [13]

1810 Martin Eversol lived in Donegal Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (10 thru 15), 1 (16 thru 25), and 1 (45 and over); and females: 1 (under 10), 1 (10 thru 15), 2 (16 thru 25), and 1 (45 and over). [14]

Research Notes:

Mennonite Records indicate that Martin Ebersole and Barbara Kissinger had son Jacob Ebersole (June 30, 1795 - December 12, 1867), spouse of Fannie Mellinger (August 24, 1791 - April 6, 1850). They were parents of Preacher Daniel Ebersole (May 6, 1821 - May 11, 1874). [15] [16]
