1831 Christian B. Stoner, son of John Stoner and Lydia Brumbaugh, was born on October 18, in Martinsburg, Pennsylvania. [1]

1880 Christian Stoner (age 40, born in Pennsylvania, married) lived in North Woodbury Twp, Blair County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Virginia Stoner (age 36), Lydia Ann Stoner (age 17), Ida Alice Stoner (age 16), Isaac Elmer Stoner (age 11), Caroline Stoner (age 9), and Howard Stoner (age 6). Christian Stoner's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. Christian Stoner was a farmer. [2]

1883 Virginia Metzker Stoner died on March 25 and was buried at Spring Hope Cemetery, Martinsburg, Blair County, Pennsylvania. Virginia Metzker Stoner was born in 1844. [3] [4]

1892 C. B. Stoner, age 60, and Lizzie Falknor, age 35, were married on April 21 in Martinsburg Twp, Blair County, Pennsylvania. C. B. Stoner was a child of John Stoner and Lydia. Lizzie Falknor was a child of James Falknor and Kezziah. [5] [6]

1918 Christian B Stoner, son of John Stoner and Lydia Brumbaugh, died, at age 86 on July 21, 1918, in Martinsburg Twp, Blair County, Pennsylvania. Christian B Stoner was born on October 18, 1831, in Martinsburg, Pennsylvania. [7]

He was a son of John and Lydia Brumbaugh Stoner. He was married February 6, 1862, to Virginia Metzger, who died March 25, 1883. Four children of this union survive: Mrs. A. M. Smouse and Isaac Stoner, of Martinsburg; Mrs. Ida Hoover, of Akron, OH.; Howard Stoner, of Sherman, OH. On April 2, 1892, he was married to Elizabeth Falkner, who survives, with one son, Harvey. Two brothers also survive: David, of Lannok, IL, and Levi, of New Berlin, OH.

An obituary for Christian Stoner reported [10]:

At his home in Martinsburg, Christian B. Stoner died at 5 p.m. Sunday of decline due to advanced years. Mr. Stoner was one of the oldest and most widely known residents of Morrison's Cove. He was a son of John and Lydia Brumbaugh Stoner, and was born October 18, 1838. He was married February 6, 1862, to Miss Virginia Metzger, who died March 25, 1883. The following children of this union survive: Mrs. A. M. Smouse and Isaac Stoner, of Martinsburg; Mrs. Ida Hoover, of Akron, O.; Howard Stoner, of Sherman, O. On April 2, 1892, he was married to Miss Elizabeth Falkner, who survives, with one son, Harvey, at home. Two brothers also survive - David, of Lannok, Ill., and Levi, of New Berlin, O. The funeral service will be held at the Brethren in Christ church, Martinsburg, on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30. Interment in Spring Hope cemetery.
