1778 Henrich Rohrbach, child of Lorenz Rohrbach and Catharina Rohrbach, was born on November 30, 1778. He was baptised on December 21, 1778 at St Jacobs (Stone), Lutheran and Reformed church, Brodbecks, York County, Pennsylvania. Heinrich and Catharina Skeil were sponsors. [1]

1784 Anna Christina Miller, daughter of Andreas and Anna Maria Miller, was born. [2]

1795 Lorentz Rohrbach, Heinrich Rohrbach's father, died and Heinrich Rohrbach chose Henry Snyder, a neighbor, as his guardian. [3]

c 1795 Anna Maria, the mother of Anna Christina Miller, died. [4]

c 1796 Widow Anna Maria Catharina Rohrbach, the mother of Heinrich Rohrbach, married widower Andreas Miller. [5]

1800 The name Henry Rohrbach appeared twice, on the Pennsylvania septennial census for Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania, once as a wheelright [6] and once as a single man. [7].

1802 On September 4, Heinrich Rohrbach purchased 10 acres in Codorus Twp, part of a tract called Tediosity, from Peter Hamme and wife Catharina. [8] Heinrich Rohrbach then bought the Christian Haffner farm of some 60 acres.

1803 Georg Hamm, child of Daniel Hamm and Susanna Hamm, was born on September 26, 1803 and was baptised on October 16, 1803 at St Jacobs (Stone), Lutheran and Reformed church, Brodbecks, York County, Pennsylvania. Henrich and Elizabeth Rohrbach were sponsors. [9]

Heinrich Rohrbach married Anna Christina Miller. They were unrelated children of their widowed, remarried parents. [10]

1807 On April 8, Heinrich Rohrbach sold the two lots purchased in 1802 to his brother-in-law John Garrance. John Garrance then sold the 10 acre piece, together with 12 acres of the Christian Haffner farm, on December 30, 1809 to Peter Hamme. [11]

1807 Henrich Rohrbach, child of Johannes Rohrbach and Margaretha Rohrbach, was born on July 12, 1807 and was baptised on September 6, 1807 at St Jacobs (Stone), Lutheran and Reformed church, Brodbecks, York County, Pennsylvania. Henrich and Christina Rohrbach were sponsors. [12]

1807 Henry Rohrbach was listed on the Pennsylvania septennial census for Manheim Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [13]

1808 Salomon Rohrbach, child of Henrich Rohrbach and Christina Rohrbach, was born on April 8, 1808 and was baptised on June 25, 1808 at St Jacobs (Stone), Lutheran and Reformed church, Brodbecks, York County, Pennsylvania. Andreas and Catharina Miller were sponsors. [14]

1810 Daniel Rohrbach, child of Henrich Rohrbach and Elisabeth Rohrbach, was born on April 12, 1810 and was baptised on October 26, 1810 at St Jacobs (Stone), Lutheran and Reformed church, Brodbecks, York County, Pennsylvania. The parents were sponsors. [15]

1816 Henry Rohrbach, wagon-maker, and Henry Rohrbach, shoemaker, were taxed in Manheim Twp, York County. [16]

1817 Henry Rohrbach, wagon-maker, [17] and Henry Rohrbach, shoemaker, [18] were taxed in Manheim Twp, York County.

1820 There were two listings on the same page of the census, for Manheim Twp, York County, that might fit this family.

1820 Henry Roarback lived in Manheim, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (10 thru 15), 1 (16 thru 18), 1 (16 thru 25), and 1 (45 and over); and females: 1 (16 thru 25). [19]

1820 Henry Roahrbauch lived in Manheim, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 4 (under 10), 1 (10 thru 15), 1 (26 thru 44), and 1 (45 and over); and females: 1 (10 thru 15) and 1 (26 thru 44). [20]

1829 The will of Andrew Miller of Codorus Twp, York County, dated May 25, 1829 and proved December 14, 1842, mentions his widow Catherine, and his children, including his daughters Margaret widow of "John Gowence" and Christina wife of Henry Rohrbaugh. [21]

1830 Henry Rorbach lived in Manheim, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (under 5), 2 (5 thru 9), 2 (15 thru 19), 1 (20 thru 29), and 1 (50 thru 59); and females: 1 (20 thru 29). [22]

1840 Henry Rohrbach lived in Manheim, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (10 thru 14) and 1 (60 thru 69); and females: 1 (40 thru 49). [23]

1850 Henry Rohrbach (age 72, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Manheim, York County, Pennsylvania, USA, in a household with Andrew Rohrbach (age 25), Sarah Rohrbach (age 21), John Miller (age 60), Christiana Rohrbach (age 66), Cath Miller (age 71), and Maria Miller (age 30). [24]

1850 Christina Rohrbach, wife of Heinrich Rohrbach, died on September 15, 1850 and was buried at Saint Jacobs Stone Church Cemetery, Glenville, York County, Pennsylvania. She was born on February 11, 1784. [25]

1860 Henry Rohrback (age 81) lived in Manheim, York County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Andrew Rohrback (age 36), Maryann Rohrback (age 32), Mantilla Rohrback (age 7), and Maryann Rohrback (age 2). [26]

1864 Henry Rohrbauch, widower, of Manheim Twp, York County, wrote his will dated November 16, 1853, in the 76th year of his age. The will named eight children: Mary Magdalena married to William Shaffer, Samuel Rohrbauch, Solomon Rohrbauch, John N Rohrbauch, Jacob Rohrbauch, Elizabeth married to John Werner, Andrew Rohrbauch, and Sarah Ann married to Jacob Miller. Son John M Rohrbauch was named executor. Proved on September 24, 1864. [27]

1864 Henry Rohrbach died and was buried at Saint Jacobs Stone Church Cemetery, Glenville, York County, Pennsylvania. He was born on September 30, 1778. [28]

Research Notes:

Heinrich Rohrbach was called Henry Rohrbach Jr. in some documents to distinguish him from his slightly older first cousin Johann Heinrich Rohrbach, who was often referred to as Henry Rohrbach Sr. In some cases it is difficult to distinguish these two men. [29]
