1846 Jacob Nicodemus of John was taxed for 1 horse, 1 occupation, and 1 watch in North Woodberry Twp, PA as a single freeman.

1850 Jacob S Nicodemus (age 28, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Martinsburg Twp, Blair County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Elizabeth Nicodemus (age 21), William Nicodemus (age 0), and Elizabeth Ghrisht (age 13). [1]

1860 Jacob S Nicodemus (age 38, born in Pennsylvania) lived in North Woodbury Twp, Blair County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Elizabeth Nicodemus (age 31), William Nicodemus (age 10), Anna Mary Nicodemus (age 4), and Florrence Nicodemus (age 1). [2]

1870 Jacob Nicodemus (age 48, born in Pennsylvania) lived in North Woodbury Twp, Blair County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Elizabeth Nicodemus (age 42), Annie Nicodemus (age 14), and Lizzie Nicodemus (age 6). [3]

1873 John Nicodemus Sr, dated his will on July 19, 1872, and it was proved in Blair County on August 2, 1873. The will named seven children: Elizabeth (married to Theophilus Snyder), Jacob S Nicodemus, Anna (married to T A Rupely?), Levi N Nicodemus, Margaret (married to Frederick Hyle), John H Nicodemus, and Charlotte (married to Samuel M Royer), and wife Mary. An unsold farm of Jacob Stoner was mentioned. Sons Jacob S and John H Nicodemus and son-in-law Frederick Hyle were named executors. [4]

1880 Jac Nicodemus (age 58, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Martinsburgh Twp, Blair County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Elizabeth Nicodemus (age 52), Annie M Nicodemus (age 24), and Elizabeth Nicodemus (age 16). Jac Nicodemus's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. Jac Nicodemus's occupation was retired farmer. [5]

1900 Jacob Nicodemus (born in Pennsylvania in Feb 1822, married for 51 years) lived in North Woodbury Twp, Blair County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Elizabeth Nicodemus (age 71). Jacob Nicodemus's father was born in Maryland and his mother was born in Pennsylvania. [6]

1926 Elizabeth Spang Nicodemus, daughter of Spang, died at age 96, on January 21, 1926 in Logan Twp, Blair County, Pennsylvania. Elizabeth Spang Nicodemus was born on February 3, 1829 in Pennsylvania. (Death certificate: 3894). [9]

1929 William S Nicodemus, son of Jacob Nicodemus and Elizabeth Spang, spouse of Allie Nicodemus, died at age 79, on November 16, 1929 in Pittsburgh Twp, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. William S Nicodemus was born on December 31, 1850 in Pennsylvania. (Death certificate: 107826). [10]

1945 Anna Mary Earlenbaugh, daughter of Jacob S Nicodemus and Elizabeth Spang, spouse of David R Earlenbaugh, died at age 89, on April 17, 1945 in Martinsburg Twp, Blair County, Pennsylvania. Anna Mary Earlenbaugh was born on January 3, 1856 in Martinsburg PA RD. (Death certificate: 30634). [11]

1949 Lizzie Nora Skyles, daughter of Jacob S Nicodemus and Elizabeth Spang, spouse of John Michel Skyles, died at age 85, on December 25, 1949 in Altoona Twp, Blair County, Pennsylvania. Lizzie Nora Skyles was born on May 15, 1864 in Martinsburg. (Death certificate: 103646). [12]

1840 Jacob Nichodemus lived in South Woodbury Twp, Bedford County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 2 (10 thru 14), 1 (15 thru 19), 1 (20 thru 29), and 1 (50 thru 59); and females: 1 (10 thru 14), 1 (20 thru 29), and 1 (40 thru 49). [14]

1850 Jacob age 28, Eliza age 22, Paul age 22, Esther age 24, and Andrew age 19 Nichodemus lived in North Woodbury, Blair, Pennsylvania with estate valued at $32,000. Next door was the household of Frederick age 70 and Elizabeth age 70 Nichodemus. This might be Jacob, the son of Frederick.

1888 Jacob Nicodemus died on Nov. 30, 1888, at age 66y 7m 6d, and was buried at Nicodemus Cemetery, Henrietta, Blair County, Pennsylvania. [15]
