1663 Ulrich Schürch was born on March 9 at Sumiswald, Switzerland. [1] [2] [3]

1672 Barbara Grunbacher was born on November 5. [4] [5]

c 1695 Ulrich Schürch married Barbara Grunbacher. [6] [7] [8] [9]

1710 Ulrich Schürch was an Anabaptist in jail in Bern. [10] [11]

1711 Ulrich Schürch and his wife Barbara Grumbacher, with three sons and one daughter, of Sumiswald, were among the Mennonites who left the Emmenthal valley, on the ship Emmenthaler, from Basel Switzerland to Holland. On 3 August, they arrived in Holland from Sumiswald. [12] [13] [14] [15] [16] [17]

1728 Ulrich Schürch arrived in Philadelphia on the ship Mortonhouse on August 23. Different transcriptions have been made of the names:

1728 Uldrick Shurk, Uldrick Shurk, Jr. and Joannes Shurk were listed in the Philadelphia Council minutes, on August 24, among Palatines who came on the ship Mortonhouse. [22]

1735 Ulrich, Peter, and John Schurch [Sherrick] received warrants and patents for large tracts in Cocalico Twp, Lancaster County. [23] [24] [25] [26] [27] [28] One survey, dated 1813, for a tract of George Reddig [29], adjacent to that of Ulrich Schurch, reported Ulrich's tract as owned by Joseph Shirk in right of Ulrick Shirk.

1736 Barbara Grundbacher Schurch died on February 11, in Schoeneck, Pennsylvania. [30] [31]

1739 Ulrich Shirk's death has been reported on July 3 at Cocalico Twp, Pennsylvania. [32] [33]
