1840 Amelia B. Zug, daughter of John Zug and Elizabeth Burkholde, was born on June 15 in Pennsylvania. [1]

Jacob Wise, child of William Wise and Rebecca Brechbill, married Amelia Zug, daughter of John and Elizabeth B. Zug of Mt. Holly. [2]

1900 Jacob Wise, born Jan 1837, and Amelia B, born June 1840, had been married 35 years and lived in South Middleton, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Amelia had had 5 children, 3 surviving. They lived with daughters Julia A, born Jan 1879, and Blanche D, born Dec 1881, and niece Ella Wonderly, born Feb 1853, widow.

1902 Jacob Wise died on October 28 at Boiling Springs, South Middleton, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [3] Jacob Wise was reported buried at Mount Zion Cemetery, Churchtown, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [4]

1907 Amelia B. Wise died on July 29 at South Middleton, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [5]

Death of Mrs. Amelia B. Wise

Mrs. Amelia B. Wise, widow of Jacob Wise, died suddenly at her home in Boiling Springs, Monday morning, at 10:30, aged sixty-seven years. She had suffered a stroke of paralysis some years ago, but had been in her usual health up until the time of death. She had been talking to her daughter a moment before she died.

Friends are requested to meet for the funeral services at her home at 10 o'clock on Wednesday. Interment at Mt. Zion cemetery at Churchtown.
