1846 David K Brenizer and Margaret Gabriel were married on March 10, in Wayne County, Ohio. [1]

1850 David Brenizer (age 28) and Margaret Brenizer (age 24) lived in Buckeye Twp, Stephenson County, Illinois with children Cyrus (age 3) and Caleb (age 1). [2]

1860 D K Bennigan (age 39) and Margaret Bennigen (age 37) lived in Buckeye Twp, Stephenson County, Illinois with children C B (age 13, male), C (age 11, male), E E (age 9, male), M J (age 7, female), and J (age 3, male). [3]

1864 DK [David Kneisley] Brenizer was taxed for income in Rock Grove, Illinois. [4]

1866 DK [David Kneisley] Brenizer was taxed for income in March in Rock Grove and in August in Davis, Illinois. [5] [6]

1868 David K. Brenizer and Martha A. Weiker were married on June 12 in Cass County, Indiana. [7] [8]

1870 Daniel H Brenizer (age 48) lived in Rock Grove, Stephenson County, Illinois with children Cyrus (age 22), Caleb (age 21), Eli (age 19), Jane (age 16), James (age 12), Elizabeth (age 9), and Ellen (age 7). [9]

1880 Cyrus G. Brenizer, age 30, and Libbie Kaylor, age 21, were married on November 18 in Black Hawk County, Iowa. Cyrus G. Brenizer was a child of D. K. Brenizer and Margaret Gabriel. Libbie Kaylor was a child of Samuel H. Kaylor and Anna Adams. [10]

1880 David K Brenizer (age 58) was widowed and lived in Nemaha, Lancaster County, Nebraska with daughter Lizza A Brenizer (age 19) and Ella M Brenizer (age 17) and nephew Clarence L Brenizer (age 22). [11] [12]

1895 David Knisley Brenizer died on July 27 and was buried at Broken Bow Cemetery, Broken Bow, Custer County, Nebraska. [13] An obituary reported [14]:

David K. Brenizer is Dead
On last Saturday morning, July 27th., 1895, death removed from our midst Mr. David K. Brenizer, who has been confined to his bed for more than a year.

On May 14th., 1894, Mr. Brenizer was stricken with paralysis of the left side, and since that time has been unable to move himself in bed. At the time of his death he was 73 years, 7 months and 3 days old, having passed the alloted age of of three score years and ten. He was born in Cumberland county, Penn., on December 24th., 1821 and moved to Wayne county, Ohio, in 1831. He was one of the pioneers of Illinois and also of Nebraska, having settled in Stephenson county, Ill., in 1848 and in Otoe county Neb. in 1873. For a number of years past, he has divided his time between his two sons, Mr. E.G. Brenizer of Bennet and Mr. J.G. Brenizer, of this place. Mr. Brenizer was a man very highly respected by everyone and those who knew him best became very much attached to him.

The funeral service was held on Sunday, at 5 o'clock P.M. at the Presbyterian church, Rev. B.H. Hunt of Georgetown preaching the sermon. His son E.G. Brenizer of Bennet and daughters Mrs. W.R. Lohr of Merna and Miss Beth Brenizer of Lincoln, were here at the time. The family and friends have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.

In early manhood he was united with the River Brethern church and was still a member at the time of his death.

1933 Elizabeth Brenizer, daughter of David K Brenizer and Margaret Gabriel, died on October 12, at age 73, in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California. [15]
