1486 June 20 Grant by John Smythe, clerk, rector of Peasmarsh, to John Horden and his son Edward Horden. A messuage with the buildings upon it, two gardens, six pieces of arable, a grove and a lane adjoining at Dalehill in Ticehurst called The Homefelde Coupersfelde, Middylfelde, Longefelde, Hasylfelde, Bromefelde and Hasyll Grove. Which formerly belonging to William Payne of Goudhurst [in Kent], and which JS and John Chaumber (who released to him) purchased, with other lands and tenements, from Thomas Cole, citizen and skinner of London, deceased. W: William Saunders, William Roper, John Ryngden, Robert Crotunden, William Frankewell; at Ticehurst. [13]

1501 April 6 Release by Vincent Fynche of Sandhurst Gent., William Hede, Gent. & Edward Horden; Release of right to William Saunders in full possession of the Manor or Tenemt. of Whiligh lately with the said William Saunders & also John Gunthorp, Sir Henry Ferrers, William Morland, John Horden, John Westburne, Richard Skyton, & John Henley now decd. had of the feoffment of John Reignold & others beforementioned.
