notes: great show for a good cause. all proceeds were donated
to the Ingham County Animal
Shelter. the fuzz manager extraordinaire joe davis was very involved
in setting this thing up and even displayed slides throughout the
night of cute puppies and kittens that were being helped by the event.
michigan state university's mascot, sparty was on hand, and there
were t-shirts and other prizes given away. the fuzz closed out the
night of great music in front of a pretty large and energized crowd.
they took the opportunity to display two new songs. one is apparently
being called "the ale that cures me", and it's a nice little
up-tempo ditty that's sure to become a fuzzkateer favorite. the other
new song sounds great as well, which can only add excitement as to
what a new fuzz album or EP could bring. the guys played some old
standards and closed out with a cover of the popular outkast song
"hey ya" to a rousing response. all in all a great show!
