charity event supporting the relay for life. from the american cancer society website: Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of your American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds, or parks and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times. Relay For Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day, cancer will be eliminated. the guys helped out by playing about a 45 minute set on a sunny saturday afternoon to an appreciative crowd. it was a nice little hometown gig that helped out a good cause.

this was a battle of the bands competition for local high school bands mostly. the fuzz played as a trio without singer/guitarist dan veale. the show was in the gymnasium and it smelled like teen spirit in there bad! the younger crowd enjoyed the rocking sounds of the fuzz as they churned out very loud renditions of classic fuzz tunes and a few covers - mostly weezer. wally pleasant was one of the judges for the event, and the fuzz took home the third or fourth place prize, i don't remember too well.
