Summary
User interfaces should be dominated by content. Unfortunately, most of them
are not. This tool is used to evaluate the percent pixels used by screen elements
(screen real estate). Content should take up more than 50% of a screen.
This tool is based on a concept presented in Jakob Nielsen's book, Designing
Web Usability: The Practice of Simplicity.
More information about what Screen Real Estate is can be found at Screen
Real Estate Guidelines.
