Job Seekers Survey Home

Thank you for participating in the Survey of Job Seekers! This project seeks to increase knowledge about the decisions of early-career doctorates in economics and related fields.

The purpose of this website is to share some tables of basic results from our surveys that we think are of general interest. Because the post-market survey of the 2008-09 job market candidates is still in the field, please note that all tables currently posted on this site are based on the job market experiences of the 2007-08 job market candidates. We will update these results as new data become ready for use, so feel free to check back in a few months!

The tables have been divided into several categories, including: who was on the market, who are the significant others, job and location preferences, the job search process, and the accepted job.

You may access information about each topic by clicking on the link in the menu on the left-hand side of this screen.
