Self-fulfilling NY Times headline to an AP article: "Anonymity Handicaps Clinton Challengers." The point being, I guess, that nobody ever hears about these people whose names aren't mentioned in the headline, but everyone has heard of Hillary Clinton, whose name IS mentioned there. I guess I shouldn't complain--the article is about Hillary's potential Republican challengers. Then again, her Democratic challengers, including real progressive Jonathan Tasini, aren't mentioned in either the headline or the article. Too anonymous for the Times, I guess.

AAARGH!

Given Hillary's positions on the Bush wars, civil liberties, "free trade," and just about everything else, shouldn't she have to face these no-name candidates in the Republican primary, and then get beaten by Tasini in November?
