All three currently active major-league teams are in first place. The Pistons have clinched the conference title; the Red Wings are close to doing the same, and the Tigers entered the day in first place (albeit with a 1-0 record) and currently lead KC 10-0 in the seventh inning.

Good thing the Lions aren't playing.
