Sunday, September 26: "Organic Taste Fest": Ann Arbor Artisan Market. Twice as large as last year, this fest features free samples of a wide range of organic food and organic food products. Also, sale of food, clothing, soaps, and more. Live bluegrass by the Ambitious Brothers (10:30 a.m.-noon) and blues piano by Al Hill (noon-2 p.m.). Farmers' Market. Free admission. 769-9841.

Saturday, October 2: Solar Tour 2004. "An all-volunteer effort to educate the public about renewable energy and sustainable building options in Washtenaw County, Michigan. Part of the American Solar Energy Society's 9th Annual National Solar Tour, the main event is an "open-house" style tour of over twenty facilities demonstrating use of renewable energy and/or sustainable building practices."
