"Another alternative is to trade in one (or two )elephant commands and make up 3 (or 4), big, hard-to-break inf. commands and win by attrition.

This army needs to be played with skill. Keep junk in elephant commands out of danger. Dig one (or two)WB command(s) into terrain. Remember, it takes 2/3rds to break army. Watch out for Lancers. Si can't beat warbands on simple majority die-roll. Keep one WB command out of the fight in reserve or army will break. Use Elephants as Kamikazi, maybe 6 elephants attacking on one flank with junk hidden -- four EE have to be destroyed to break each Elephant command. This will probably lose, but may be fun. Have fun, Charlie"

Siamese were deployed with both elephant commands in center. Hordes in BUA but Sk and Bw in the attack. Each of other commands took a flank.

Two elephant commands charged forward into Moghul center command, lost a elephant each but made contact and destroyed enough Sh to break the command. Steve R's command was broken thru loss of supporting troops. On the Moghul left, Lou tried to get Steve R out of the woods and to sweep around the woods to hit Siamese in back but Steve managed to hold off the Si with his Bw(I). On the Siamese left, Steve C took command of the woods and picked off enough of Stefano's troops with the bow to break him. Those were the two largest Moghul commands so Siamese won. Game was fun, lots of action with the elephants. three Art(X) led to lots of strange results.

Thanks to Ethan for explaining shooting on hills and the strange DBR flee rule.
Terrain: from left to right in middle of table are three palm woods, in center is a rough going marsh. In center toward Siamese side is a BUA with road leaving and going to Moghul center. Two roads leave BUA each toward Siamese back table corner. River cuts off 3 feet of table on Siamese right, thus table area played was about 4" by 6".
