I recently had some figures painted by a gentleman in Sri Lanka. These were pirates, mostly the new Foundry ones. I am planning to do a game based on the Stockade fight in Treasure Island so I had the Foundry Treasure Island set done (and 2 Dixon figures to be the Squires employees who came along) and also many assorted others as the attacking group.
I sent the figs to Sri Lanka via normal airmail. It took about 2 months to get them back but I think you will agree the work was well worth the wait. The price is quite reasonable even including postage.
